Once in Belize it was a breeze. Taxi to the port and on a speed boat within 15 mins on my way to Caye Caulker. Then got a golf cart taxi to the dive shop and with 20 mins I was in my new home with a Swedish footy player called Andrea  - top chick too!

We are sharing this run down clapboard apartment on the top floor (only 2 stories anyway) over looking the sea. The house has been dubbed 'The Penthouse' (by me) and the outside shower 'The Spa' (also by me). It's a shabby place but as they say location! location! location! but what they don't mention is the odd cockroach. Andrea is great company and its col sharing the place as she is here on a 6 week internship doing her advanced PADI. Speaking of which the open water PADI for me looks like being sidelined. I caught a great cold on the flight over and my ears really suffered, by the time I got to Belize it took 4 hours for the left one to pop

Not to worry though i'm finding plenty to do. Done multiple snorkel trips too Hol Chan, Choral Gardens Shark Ray Alley seen sharks, rays, turtles and a few fish done a bit of  island hops and also Manatee spotting, all great stuff.

Found the apre's diving bar where everyone (there not many really) goes for a beer cocktail and watch sun down - sort of Cafe Del'Caulker. Took some ace photos and it seem like the camera investment will pay off

I've Spotted a yacht trip that goes for 3 days down the cost and drops you off on the mainland. Then I'll head in land a bit do some Maya ruins, nature reserves etc. Still have over a week in Belize and already I feel I should stay for a month. It's even gonna be hard leaving CC and frightening how I slipped into laid back traveler mode/student - woke up this morning, read for a while and got drawn into Police Academy 3 eek! must remember to book places without a TV.

 Now i'm on the Caye the mobi phone works but can not send pics or reply to text messages which is a shame as I've had a few - even one from John on his way to The Bull on a friday night...just to remind me nothing is changing back home.
